As if my prayers were answered by the Gods, a website has emerged that gives you your current local weather AND gives suggestions on what you should wear based off the temp/conditions of the day! W E Δ T H E R can help you when you don't feel like using your energy to crack those blinds and see what is most fitting in your closet. Clothing can be separated by male or female and includes accessories and shoes! Even better click the photo of what you like and you're sent directly to the product on its corresponding site!! Shopping made easy, who can complain?! Unfortunately for my buddies across the pond W E Δ T H E R is only available to track US weather but some of the pieces featured are from UK brands, so shop on mates :)
Check out Rachel's new vid showcasing looks from the 2013 Resort Collection. Nice to see clothes in motion huh?<iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/-08sv_h0Sf0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
The cold weather has finally come! And may I say it is my favorite season with all the fashion possibilities from layering, to shorts with tights, boots, bomber jackets, ear muffs, mittens, I could go on for DAYS. One of my favorite places to look for style inspiration (and snag a few pieces!) has to be Free People. Their November collection is a combination of flow-y, shimmery, festival ready, patterned must-haves that are equipped to keep you warm and cozy this fall/winter. Check out a few of my favorite looks below....
After a small hiatus to get myself in the swing of things with TWO jobs and a full time school load, I have returned to my humble abode. :) Thanks to all of you guys who hang around with me!! Fall is upon us (not to mention Halloween!!!!) and I've found 3 new trends I'm going to try, and suggest you take for a spin too.
*These trends are being shown at spring shows, but who says you can't start early*
1. Layered Platforms
Chanel Spring '13
2. Double Arm Bangles
Alexander McQueen Spring '13
3. Embellished Sunnies
Prada Spring '13
School's back in session!! To go along with my goal of moving to France after graduation, I decided why not take French? I started classes last Tuesday and already I am in love with learning this beautiful language. My professor shared a video with us last class that has non native french speakers and a few celebs giving their thoughts on France and its people, etc. I was delighted to see Marc Jacobs, Roberto Cavalli, and Kanye West among the people sharing their opinions.. even when I least expect it fashion finds another way to saturate my mind!

I had a BLAST at the Space for Music album release event, Brittani did an absolutely amazing job and looked breathtaking! I had the luxury of getting a copy of the album and like I said before this girl's got lungs!!! It's so refreshing to hear some real talent these days and to see stage presence to go along with it. I am delighted to have been able to attend and can't wait for the day I can say " Hey I got to see her live!" If you weren't there, you REALLy missed out.
Get the album on iTunes

Check out the newest ad campaign for Lanvin.. my personal favorite quote is Jacquie "Tajah" Murdock — the eldest among the models — saying, "When I was 18 I wanted to go to Paris, so you could turn it around and put the eight in front and the one behind, and have 81 instead of 18." Elbaz, laughing in the background, responds, "Paris is coming to you."

As if I didn't already dig H&M ad campaigns they spice things up (literally Lana is sooo sultry) with Lana Del Rey for their newest winter collection.
The ad was shot by famed fashion photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. In it she pouts perfectly and models sweaters, jeans, and knits.
“The mood is very L.A. noir,” Donald Schneider, H&M’s creative director, told Women’s Wear Daily.
The photographs also play up Del Rey’s other well-known feature -- her lips. [via NY Daily News]

Fall is approaching quickly and Neiman Marcus has perfected the list for the 2012 trends. I was lucky enough to have been invited to cover the Fall Trend event this past Wednesday and I was not dissappointed (but then again when does Neiman Marcus ever dissapoint lol!) I was able to browse through each trend and got some snaps of lovely models donning a few for our viewing pleasure, and as always there was a DIY goodie bag sweets table (don't blame me for making a few)
Be sure you're prepared for the fall with The List:
1. Mixed Greens
2. The Jacket
3. The Smoking Slipper
4. The Leather Leg
5. Navy: The New Neutral
6. The Statement Handbag
7. Borrowed From The Boys
8. Digital Prints
10. The Fall Face

Check out the video for the new graphic tee collection from American Apparel, Wits & Giggles. During the video Rick Klotz, FreshJive founder, shows us the 'make-shift' office space, talks of trade shows, and gives us the teeniest glimpse of what to expect of the shirt line.<iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/47059214?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0" width="400" height="300" frameborder="0" webkitAllowFullScreen mozallowfullscreen allowFullScreen></iframe>
